Teaching Approach

I will help a student with the basic grammar necessary to build a strong foundation in Spanish. I can drill them through correct application of sentence structure for comments and questions.

Program Description

I can get someone started with grammer and memorization of key phrases in the beginning level to intermediate level to allow a strong foundation in the early stages of Spanish learning aquisition. I have grammatical verb tense flash cards and other materials to help with this.

Teaching Experience

In the 1980s I worked at a local community college as a Spanish language tutor for a few years. I have helped amnesty seeking refugies from Latin America learn English at a Philipino managed private school in the early 1990s for a year. I worked as a Medical Interpreter Spanish/Engli sh in local clinics in my area in the mid 1990s.I currently help people at a local Senior Center to learn basic Spanish.

Teacher Training

I studied Spanish 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, conversationa l Spanish in a local community college in my area in the 1980s.

I studied Court Interpreting Spanish/Engli sh at a local University in the early 1990s.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can adjust instruction times as my schedule allows at the time. My schedule is generally pretty flexible. Generally I would say Monday through Friday between 11am and 1pm PST would work well buy can possibly shedule early evenings as well. This can be arranged better as I hear from the students.

Payment policy would need to be adjusted between me and the students and whatever the "mylanguageex change.com" policies are. Personally I like to use Paypal.
