Hi there! My name is Juli, I am 24 years old and I am passionate about learning languages and, of course, about teaching. Recently I obtained my Master's degree in Political Science and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Arabic. I am interested in politics and culture, fitness, traveling, meeting new people and much more.
With much joy and enthusiasm, I have been teaching Dutch at the Language Center in my hometown, the Netherlands, for about two years. I have been teaching non-native speakers from A1 to B1 level. In my lessons, the most important condition is that everyone learns something new. If you are challenged, you learn. But there is also room for questions, repetition, and building confidence.
I am soon living in Tokyo, Japan, and looking for motivated Dutch learners at any level to engage in interactive and fun in-person lessons. What can you expect?
• Dutch will be our no. 1 language (English is plan B!)
• 80% of the time YOU will speak, write, or read.
• Expanding, repeating, and memorizing new vocabulary and grammar.
• Working on your confidence and speaking skills.
• Discussing Dutch culture, politics, people and pecularities!
