Teaching Approach

Students will learn the Greek Alphabet and the Greek phonemic/phon ological system.
Espe cially the Arabic speaking students start to read and write Greek, learning vocabulary/wo rds that are common in both languages.
We will follow the Communication Model for learning languages, which means that the lesson are based on the communication , dialogues and texts of real life.

Program Description

I am a Greek teacher in primary school and I have experience in teaching Greek as second/foreig n language. I have being teaching my mother tongue to Arabic speaking students for many years. I have experience and vast knowledge of the Arabic language and I am aware of distinctivene ss between the Greek and the Arabic language, therefore I can adapt the didactic methods I follow.

Teaching Experience

I teach Greek in Primary School in Greece for 22 years.
I have been teaching Greek as foreign language in the Voklshochschu le Rosenheim (Germany) for 6 years.
I have been teaching Greek as foreign languages in Greece to Arabic speaking students, voluntarily, through the refugee crisis in my country for 4 years.

Degree in Pedagogy from National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Primary Education
