Teaching Approach

My approach to helping you master the language is understanding that each student is unique and should therefore be treated individually. Not each person has the ability to grasp a new language with ease. My lessons will be tailored specifically for each student. The best way to encourage anyone learning something new is to incorporate fun activities. That's why in my class, there will be lots of fun and music and singing if so wished.

Hallo,
My name is Mercie. I come from Kenya but I have been living in Germany for the last 7 years. During my time here, I have met a lot of people who would love to learn Swahili but they have difficulty in finding someone to tutor them. Are you in the same predicament? Whether you are a beginner or planning your trip to East Africa and would like to learn the language, I will definately help you. I am flexible and definately will create time for you no matter which corner of the world you are. I speak both German and English so feel welcomed to contact me. Speak soon. Kwaheri.

Iam not a professionall y trained teacher but I have been teaching Swahili privately in my local community to my friends and family.

I am a trained legal assistant with 2 years experience in this field.
After I moved to Germany, I enrolled in a Vocational Training school where I trained as a Clerk in Retail for 3 years. After that I did a High School Diploma to enable me to enroll in a University. I have just started my Bachelor Degree in Business Administratio n.

I am flexible, we can work out when you are convenietly available to take lessons.

W hat us your Payment Policy?

Fu ll Payment is required before we commence lesson. This can be made either through a Bank Transfer or Paypal.

Wh at other relevant experience make you a more effective teacher?

I have experience of learning a completely different language as an adult. I had to learn German and I mastered it pretty fast. However I know a lot of people who are struggling with learning a new language. My experience puts me in a position to understand your situation and allows me to explain these in simple terms which makes it easier for you to understand and grasps and of course put into practice.
