Teaching Approach

Hi, this is Marcus Ahn.
I was born in South Korea and moved to U.S.A to experience the bigger world.
I lived 14 years in both countries and finished my final education in Pennsylvania State University as bachelor's degree of accounting. After I graduate, I worked in banking industry for 2 years. From my past educational background, I can share only the good parts from each country's program with students. I do not have certificate to teach but I have many experience of teaching people offline and I love to give people lessons. Please feel free to choose me then I will provide you all you need.

Program Description

For English learner,
I can teach beginners and intermediate level with my program.
- memorising vocabularies (both level implies with different vocabs)
- read and discuss the newspapers (intermediate only)
- read and discuss fairy tale stories (beginners only)
- taking pop-quiz once in awhile to check every lesson is working out (both)
- daily conversation about the students life to get used to English (both)

For Korean learners,
- memorising vocabularies (beginners only)

I am willing to adjust the lesson based on the students levels and what they want.

Teaching Experience

First of all, I have neither legit teaching experience from legal teaching center nor I have perfect grade from school. However, I have tutored my friends when I was in college with any subject that they need. I like to see people getting improve after I give them a lesson.

Teacher Training

I have studied at Pennsylvania State University for 4 years and that is all I have. I have attended many tutoring center as a learner and I can guarantee people that I can share the experience that I received.
