Teaching Approach

My approach to helping students master English is dependent upon my student's goals. For example, if a student were learning English in order to be able to travel to an English speaking country, I would focus primarily on fluency and ensuring that the student became comfortable conversing in everyday English. If a student were learning English in order to take a specific exam, I would tailor my material to meet the expectations of the exam. Program Description

Hi there! I am a recent graduate from Scripps College in Claremont, California and am currently pursuing a career in education. I will be receiving my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification this coming month and am hoping to complete more hours of hands-on ESOL tutoring. I have experience tutoring English learners of all ages and backgrounds and am happy to adjust my tutoring to your needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions and personal goals.
