I really pay attention to self-confiden ce when it comes to learn a new language: if not at ease, one never dares to speak. Futhermore, I firmly believe one really begins to learn a language when one begins to love it.
Having myself learned various languages, I know the biggest progress happens when the class environment is comfortable and friendly. A real interaction must happen between the teacher and the student, so I do my best to share my passion for languages with patience and cheerfulness.
To sum up, my approach of teaching is creative, cheering and interactive.

Program Description

The way I teach is very interactive. I do not believe in studying vocabular or grammar points. The learning is built upon scenarios and life situations. I start from a very practical situation, event, or thing and elaborate a lesson from it. We can start from song, movie extract, life scenario, and learn the language actively through creativity and curiosity.
I believe grammar is a lot of fun, so I don't miss out on it. But I don't teach raw grammar point. Rather, I invite students to find out by themselves through repetition - which means they are invited to do a lot of talking, not just listening.
Basic or complexe, the students will both learn grammar and vocabulary at the same time - without being bored nor frustrated !

I have been leading an English beginner summer class for kids and teens (8 to 12 years old) - Belgium, July 2013.
I have been a private teacher (kids of 12 years old) for 6 months - France, 2014-2015.
i have volunteered as an English teacher to Cambodian staff in a Hotel(from 19 to 44 years old) - Thailand, March 2018.
