Teaching Approach

I approach my tutorials with a priority on conversation. We then linguisticall y analyse what has been discussed and work on flaws of grammar and pronunciation .

Program Description

I offer conversationa l lessons to those who are curious about the Irish language, with a focus on pronunciation and fluency. We can talk about whatever the student wishes and if more structured lessons with a focus on grammar are required, then this can also be accommodated.

Teaching Experience

I am a university teacher and lead seminars in the subject of comparative literature.
I was a tutor of Irish for one year at the Aislinn adult education centre, Dublin and one further year as a staff Irish tutor at a community centre in the West of Ireland.
