I offer fast-track lessons for those who wish to speak Mandarin as quickly as possible. We will practice conversations for traveling, working and living in China. My students will find my classes easy and fun!
I also have contact with Mandarin schools at universities in Beijing and can recommend students for study there for two or three weeks or longer. This program includes guided visits of the capital city of China, and optional classes in traditional Chinese arts like tai-chi, calligraphy and kung-fu.

Teaching Experience

I have a total of 10 years experience teaching Mandarin in China and in Canada.
In China, I taught foreigners for six years at Beijing Union University and Beijing Global Village Language School. I taught both private one-on-one classes and group classes of up to 15 students.
In Canada, I'm currently teaching at the First Class Mandarin school in downtown Toronto, with small group classes of 3-4 students. I have also been providing private tutoring to individual students. Previously, I taught Mandarin and Chinese literature at a high school in midtown Toronto for one year.
I believe I have the gift to help my students, both adults and high school students, learn Chinese quickly and easily.
Bo rn in Northern China and having lived 15 years in Beijing where Mandarin originated, I am able to teach accurate and authentic Mandarin language.

Yes . The textbooks I'm using, edited by linguistic experts in China, are the most authoritative and practical ones for helping students learn accurate Mandarin effectively.
2. What's the schedule like?
Very flexible. I can teach on weekdays or weekends, daytime or evening.
3 . How much opportunity will I have to speak in class?
In a 50 minute class for example, you will normally have 35 minutes to practice speaking.
4. Will I be practicing speaking with my classmates?
Yes, in group classes, I encourage my students to practice with each other under my guidance.
