I tailor tutoring sessions to each student according to Spanish level, interests, and learning style. Because my approach is communicative , my tutoring sessions are interactive and meaningful; I focus on making sure students are always active and engaged and that grammar explanations are mostly embedded in activities. Unstructured conversation classes are also an option for learners who would just like practice speaking. I am also happy to structure classes around the theme of tourism for those who are preparing for a trip to a Spanish-speak ing country. I am very flexible as to what kind of Spanish lesson you would like. Overall, I strive to challenge students while creating a comfortable and fun learning environment. Students of any level are welcome.

I have become passionate about helping others learn Spanish after teaching English in Spain and getting an MA in Spanish Literature. I am currently a university instructor for elementary Spanish and have 4 years' tutoring experience. Because of my vast experience learning the language and teaching it, I am able to give students quality instruction that covers all aspects of being fluent in a language: writing, listening comprehension , reading, and most importantly, speaking.
I am flexible regarding scheduling and availability, requiring a two-hour cancellation notice.

What is your teaching schedule?
I have a flexible schedule and would be able to accommodate students who would like morning, afternoon, evening or weekend lessons.
What is your payment policy?
Fo r students with regular lessons, they should submit payment on a monthly basis, before the first lesson of that month. If lessons do not occur on a regular basis, students may submit payment three days before the lesson.
What other relevant experience makes you a more effective teacher?
I have a wide range of teaching experience, which makes me a versatile teacher, able to adapt the content and style of lessons to many different students. I have worked with students from age 5 to adults. I have also worked in various settings such as at the college level, in the classroom, and at grammar school and high school levels. Having worked with such a variety of students has given me the experience necessary to assess a student's level and learning style, and create original lessons that will help them achieve their goals.
