Program Description
|
|
|
First of all, you need to know that every lesson is adapted to your needs and interests. Therefore, I offer tailored classes in a friendly, professional and relaxed environment in which you will hardly notice that it you are doing it through Skype.
I offer two types of classes:
1. Conversation: classes where students already have some proficiency in Portuguese Iintermediate or advanced) and aim at practicing their pronunciation and speaking skills with a native speaker on different topics, according to their interests and needs, in order to keep their language level. However, this does not mean that, if it is necessary to consolidate vocabulary and/or some grammatical points, these classes cannot include more formal working moments where we revise or consolidate what you have previously learned by sending you woksheets with specific exercises. Each session usually lasts an hour.
2. Level classes: classes where, after checking the level in which you are, we work on the different language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and on vocabulary and grammar, as well, so that you improve your portuguese and become more proficient in it. Each session lasts for 60 or 90 minutes, according to your preference.

During this class, besides analysing your level and talking about your goals and interests, you will also have the opportunity to comprove the advantages of learning Portuguese through Skype.

Teaching Experience

I discovered the possibility of having language lessons through Skype five years ago, while I was trying to learn Spanish, but, due to work, I could not attend university classes as often as I wished to do it. I confess that I was immediately in love with this innovative way of studying and I also began teaching Portuguese for Foreigners.
Teaching Portuguese for Foreigners has really been a very enriching experience, allowing me to interact with students of different nationalities , to exchange ideas about the countries in which we live and to teach my mother tongue and my country's culture.
Teaching is truly a passion for me and Skype is another way that allows me to do it!

I have a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, Portuguese-En glish and another one in Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Portuguese-Sp anish. I am also finishing a Master in Teaching English and Spanish in which I have studied several key issues for teaching foreign languages.
