Teaching Approach

My method relies heavily on using Italian from the very first lesson. Use of English or Dutch will be very limited in order to encourage students to think actively in Italian from day 1. We will work a lot with audio and written texts and also with many spoken activities to develop fluency. We will also study grammar, but you will actively discover the rules using a variety of techniques. If you have a friend who also wants to learn please come together, a group lesson is by far more effective and fun than single lessons! For those who wish to learn piano as well we can combine the two learning experiences!

Program Description

I offer Italian lessons to all age profiles in Amsterdam. We can meet at your place, mine or a cafe' where it is most convenient for you. I can tailor the program according to your own needs. Some of my areas of specialisatio ns are Italian in Classical music (I am a conservatoriu m trained pianist and violinist) and Italian in Business (I have worked for many years in different Italian organizations ).
