I am an independent tutor. I firmly believe in the teaching approach of complete immersion in a language, but always at a comfortable pace. Through conversation and surrounding yourself in a language, it is much easier to learn in a fluent, natural way. I am very open to adapting to any styles that suit you.

Hi everyone!
I am Emma Hyland, I am a 19 year old living here in Aalborg, Denmark. I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, but moved here last May to live with my boyfriend. I am more than qualified to teach in English. I have work experience in a school teaching the language to young children, aged 5-7, and have many years experience as a babysitter, including 9 months as an Au Pair when I first arrived here in Denmark.
English is my first love, my native language, and what I consider myself best at! I have loved to write my entire life, and my grades in school always reflected my appreciation for the language. I achieved the highest grade you can get in English in my leaving certificate examination, and I also attended an English language University course before I decided to move to Denmark.
I also was raised in a household that always took in foreign students who had come to Dublin to learn the language, we were taught by my parents to help the language learning process from a very young age in a non judgemental, helpful way.
I would love to tutor or teach anyone of any ages. If you have any questions or would like to arrange something, please let me know.
