As I have already mentioned, I organize my lessons in 10 weeks courses. However, having students from so different backgrounds, way of thinking, learning style and available time my approach cannot be the same for all of my students. I, always, arrange a pre-lesson meeting(eithe r online or face to face)with interested people in order to obtain information regarding their level, the time they want to invest in their learning, their interests and their favourite way of learning things. This allows me to configure the course according to my student's needs.

Program Description

I organize my lessons in 10 weeks courses which start from absolute beginners up to the advanced level. After our first discussion, I will let you know what course is appropriate for you and I will send you the syllabus of the course.
My lessons is either one hour session per week or two 30 minutes sessions per week. This depends on the availability of my students.
My courses include a number of activities and exercises online using a number of educational tools.
My main purpose is to master the language and improve your speaking, listening, writing and reading skills.

Teaching Experience

I am working as a teacher of the Greek language at the Greek school of Liverpool and as a private tutor (online and on the ground). At the Greek school I teach Greek to 8 ten years old students. As a private tutor, I have students from different background and ages. I teach children of Greek immigrants, people who love Greece and are interested in learning Greek for tourist purposes, people who wish to retired in Greece and want to learn the language before they go. I have, also, adults students who have a family connection with Greece (their father or grandfather is Greek) and want to learn the language of their relatives back home.

I am a native Greek speaker and professional teacher of the Greek language. I studied at the University of Athens Classical Philology (this include Modern and Ancient Greek language) and teaching approaches and theories to the subject. I graduated in 2011 and I went to Liverpool for my masters at the University of Liverpool. I studied Ancient History and at the same time, I started an online course from the centre of Hellenic studies in Athens which focuses on the teaching of Greek as a foreign language.
