September 2012 – April 2013 Teaching Assistant Fossdene Primary School
I have been working as a teaching assistant in Reception Class. I focused on groups during the activity sessions for various activities such as literacy, practical maths, IT and free playtime. I was responsible for groups during guided reading; making observations and informing the teacher, helping with planning; working with small groups or individual children to provide extra support or extension; taking children outside to deliver the outdoor curriculum; supervising break duties on a rota basis and teaching one of the three class’s groups phonics and maths.
January 2012 – Mai 2012 Assistant Drama Tutor Greenwich & Lewisham Young People's Theatre I acted as an assistant tutor in Theatre in Education workshops and I co-developed Drama workshop’s plans. I facilitated collaborative games and group activities that led to a performance based on improvisation and devise.
Ja nuary 2012 – March 2012 Workshop Facilitator Goldsmiths College University of London During my Master studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, my fellow students and I designed, developed and facilitated a series of interactive, creative and interdiscipli nary workshops that took place weekly at Goldsmiths premises. This project's major goal was to gain experience in teaching adults at Higher Education, get acquainted with the process of evaluation, lesson planning and prioritizing workshop’s learning goals according to class’s abilities.
September 2009 – June 2011 Primary English Teacher Hellenic College of Thessaloniki I worked as an English teacher in primary and junior school. I developed creative lesson plans in curriculum. I gave lectures, assigned work, evaluated children’s’ progress, kept attendance and managed the classroom according to drama in education methods, so as to keep students stimulated and interested. I also worked with parents and dealt with student issues, offered extra and assistance and spot learning disabilities. Additionally, I developed my IT t skills by making use of interactive whiteboards.
Dec ember 2009– Mai 2010 Business English Teacher Cana, Pharmaceutica l Company I had been working for six months as an English Teacher in Cana, Pharmaceutica l Company and I was teaching business English to the staff. The lesson plans were focused on improving students’ writing and speaking skills.
March 2008 – Mai 2008 Assistant English teacher 31st State Junior School of Thessaloniki I observed and co-planed an academically rigorous curriculum. I developed strong student engagement practices and had the opportunity to co-lead a small middle school class.

2013 - Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Drama in Education, at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with specializatio n in English Vocabulary acquisition via Drama. 2011 – 2012 Master in Applied Drama: Theatre in Educational, Community and Social Contexts at Goldsmiths, University of London.
In this master I explored the ways in which theatre and performance is created by diverse groups of people in a variety of community, social and educational settings. I gained valuable knowledge regarding theatre-in-ed ucation; theatre for development; applied puppetry, intercultural arts, theatre in museums, story-telling , behavioural management and conflict resolution.
2005-2009 Bachelor in English Language and Literature with specializatio n in Translation at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
In this bachelor, that acquires the completion of 8 academic semesters of study, I was provided with advanced knowledge in the main subjects taught on the program (language, linguistics, literature, translation, cultural studies and teaching) and I became qualified for employment in education and other related fields of specializatio n in the public and private sectors
