My name is Sendy, and I teach foreign language courses for the past 8 years. I believe that the best way to learn a new language is by imitating people who know it well. That is why I model my lessons after conversations that I have had with my family members and my closest friends. For example, rather than dictating vocabulary words to the class as a whole, I ask them to repeat back the words I have just said so that I can gauge their level of understanding . When I am introducing a new grammar structure, I ask them to complete a simple sentence with me so that they can practice using the new phrase in context. I spend a lot of time listening to my students.

In my classes, I teach Bahasa Indonesia or English step by step. Based on my teaching experience and some material from others, I have created materials. For English, I use Cambridge's curriculum. Based on your learning style, we will also take into account what type of learning you prefer. We will do a lot of activities with songs and other activities that will make learning easier and more fun. I teach based on your needs and the people around me. You will feel like you are studying with a friend or a family member because that's how I treat you and my students like. Students are expected to do their work and to be cooperative. They will also be evaluated and given grades based on how they respond to my work in the classroom. I look forward to teaching you!
These are the most basic things that the learner will do:
1. Reading and writing.
2. Speaking and listening.
5. Extras: homework, tests, and quizzes to measure the progress of the learner.
I will slowly introduce other activities depending on what level you're at and what interests you the most.
As for materials, I use a module that I designed based on my experiences and observations while teaching. Also, I have used a book from the National Language Centre of Indonesia which is intended to teach Indonesia to speakers of other languages.
Also, I can assist in preparing for the UKBI (Ujian Kemahiran Bahasa Indonesia) test for foreigners or TOEIC for Indonesians.

I have been teaching English both online and offline, including online tutoring in English and Bahasa Indonesia to students from all over the world. I have been teaching for over 6 years now and my clientele is quite varied; it includes students of all ages from Kindergarten to Senior High school level. Moreover, I have also taught young children in my native language, Bahasa Indonesia.
