Teaching Approach

I use comparative methods that familiarizes the student especially European-lang uage speaker with the different grammatical, philosophical structure of the Chinese language and culture. This method draws on familiar grammatical and cultural notions of the language(s) that the student already speaks to clarify Chinese linguistic and cultural specificity manifested in the very way of speaking and writing.

Program Description

I am a multilingual (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese) native Chinese. I hold a PhD in comparative literature and am experienced in foreign language learning and teaching.
