Program Description

Hi. I'm a friendly and approachable study skills tutor and support mentor, with three years experience supporting a range of students, many of whom have SEN, such as dylexia. I very much enjoy my role and am now looking forward to meeting new students in my adopted city of Amsterdam.
I provide one to one support which helps to promote independent study by introducing learning skills and strategies, detailed feedback on written work, advice on planning, structure and academic tone.
I have supported a number of final year students with dissertations , individual presentations , CV composition, application letters and exam preparation. I also support students with practical work, such as presentations , by advising on economy of language, cue cards and timings. I often serve as an ‘audience’ on rehearsals and discuss any potential editing.
The main focus of my support is aiding students in becoming more confident and better prepared to enter into Higher Education and the world of work.
