Teaching Approach

I provide lively and enjoyable lessons where the student practices speaking English throughout the lesson. Writing, listening and reading are also focused on and there is a balance of home-study and practice in the lesson. I use a variety of materials, including my own materials, text books, videos, podcasts, newspaper articles and role-playing. I prepare students to use English in real life situations confidently.

Each lesson is tailored to the student, including homework to ensure the student progresses and becomes confident.

Teaching Experience

I have a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification (TEFL) and I have been teaching a variety of students for the last 5 years privately and at a language school.

Be fore becoming a teacher I worked in Logistics and the Telecoms industries and therefore have experience in using English in a Business environment.

I am currently learning a language as I live in a French speaking country and this gives me an unique insight into learning a language. I have a lot of experience in using English in a Business environment and using English in a foreign country. I am also available via email throughout the course for any questions.
