Teaching Approach

I have experience in teaching students of all ages, I understand the difficulties of learning a new language and the problems that can arise. I have many different materials to help overcome these problems. I am calm and understanding . But I know how to get the best out of my students with constant help and motivation.

Program Description

I prepare my classes in advance depending on the time a student will be with me, we should have an overall example at the beginning of what our final goal will be and what the student would like to learn in the time we have. I will then, find the necessary materials and put to work in each class my aims.

Teaching Experience

I have worked privately giving classes for over six years and I have also worked for two different private academies and so I have a lot of experience in both small and large groups of adults and children of all ages.

Teacher Training

I am native English, but I have lived for over twelve years in the Canary Islands a Spanish speaking country. Where I have been able to put to good use my own English skills and help other people learn over the years. I have studied at the Official Language School of Puert del Rosario, Fuerteventura Spain. My main studies before leaving were in Business and Administratio n.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am at present available most days and evenings and would need to speak to the student about their timetable to find out what would be best suited to both of us. I would prefer to be paid cash in hand if I meet my student face to face, and I prefer to receive the payment at the beginning of our lesson. I believe I understand the struggles and difficulties before one whilst learning a new language. I am fluent now in Spanish and it took me a while but I was able to do it with perseverance and help, and so I feel I could offer this to my students this understanding and motivation that is needed.

Cost of Lessons

I would charge a fee of 20 euros per hour for private classes and a charge of 15 euros per hour for a class of three people.
