Experience in eight years of teaching has taught me that adjusting to the student's individuality is the key to unlocking his or her language learning potential. Program Description

Your language learning needs will determine the approach that is offered by me. For instance, if you are just starting your language studies, I will plan your classes in such a way that you get maximum benefit from the contact time we have together; your lessons will, accordingly, focus on encouraging you to use, straight away, the language elements you are acquiring in the lessons - we will clarify any grammatical points you may need help with and then we will put your new language knowledge into immediate effect, by applying the new language knowledge in conversation, in written excercises, in comprehension tasks and in language production tasks. The most important thing about the early stages of your language learning, though, is that you experience them as interesting and fun to engage with; so, the material covered in beginners classes will reflect, as far as possible, the areas interest that you have personally. If you wish not to undertake any specific type of language exercise, we can adjust your lessons to accommodate your wishes, while continuing to help you make progress in your studies. If you are studying at either an intermediate or an advanced level, then your classes will typically focus more on written and oral comprehension tasks, highlighting particular linguistic structures, vocabulary building, register of language and translation.

For eight years, I have taught French and English to pupils preparing for school examinations and to individuals who were preparing to relocate to France for work purposes. I also have some experience in teaching family groups.
