Hi everyone, and thanks for reading this! Before going further in my presentation, please be aware that I don't speak Swedish, hence all lessons can only be taught in English.
A bout my method:
- Generally speaking, learning a language can be quite tricky. When it comes to learning words for example, it can be long and discouraging. Chances are that you will forget some of them in the long term. That is, if you use a learning by heart process. But you can use much more effective and quicker tools such as mmemonic (learning by creating associations between items).
Usin g such methods will allow you to learn faster and to remember what you have learnt for longer, because you have created a link between two items that makes sense for your brain. I can help you find such tools to learn much more easily. That means I will not only give you input, but also methods of learning efficiently when it's possible.
- As a French native, I can help you with any type of lesson: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation , general conversation, help with homework,...
About me:
- What I do now: I'm a French student currently (until January) studying business and economics at Lund University.
- My background: - French Baccalauréat with highest honours
- Two-year preparation programme for national competitive examinations to enter French business schools
- EDHEC Business school (high ranked French business school).
- I don't have any experience in teaching French. However, as the eldest of four children, I have regularly helped with homeworks and I do think I have the patience and teaching skills required to help you.
Abo ut the process:
- Send me an email to tell me more about what you want to learn (pronunciatio n, vocabulary, specific requests...), and as thoroughly as you can. Feel free to give me any detail that you consider relevant (for exemple if your request is urgent and that you need intensive training within the next weeks,...)
- If I am able and available to teach you what you've asked for, we set a meeting to discuss it further, decide where and when the lessons should be done,...
- If you're satisfied with our meeting, we can get started with the lessons!
