Teaching Approach

A fully qualified and highly experienced teacher of the Russian Language offers one-to-one tuition and individually developed Russian courses at all levels.
- YOU choose the location: the lessons can be held either at the tutor's home or your home or office.
- YOU choose the time, day and the frequency of the lessons that suit you.
- YOU choose the length of the lessons (1,5 hrs is advisable).
- YOU choose what to study: it could be for general purpose, travelling, business or exam preparation.

Program Description

Teaching approach varies from student to student. There is no single approach. You can arrange a free trial lesson, so you could meet the tutor, discuss your individual needs and your learning style, choose the teaching methods that are most suitable for you. Then you can decide if you would like to go ahead with the program.

Teaching Experience

Started teaching languages (English, Russian and German) in 2002 in an international language school in Moscow. Taught in-company and gave private tuition. Among students there were directors and management staff of some of the leading companies in Moscow.
Moved to the UK in 2004 where have been employed full-time by Manchester Adult Education Services. Also a teacher of Russian on a CertTESOL course in City College Manchester (now The Manchester College).

Teacher Training

MA in linguistics and intercultural communication s (with Distinction); Certificate in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (from Moscow State University); Level 4 Certificate for Adult ESOL Subject Specialists; Level 5 Certificate in FE Teaching; Licentiate Diploma in TESOL (with Distinction) from Trinity College London.

A member of IfL (Institute for Learning) since 2008

A member of IATEFL (Internationa l Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language) since 2007.
