What is your teaching schedule?
I am available most afternoons and weekends.
What is your payment policy?
Pa yment is due at the end of each lesson and can be made in cash or by electronic transfer
W hat makes you an effective teacher?
I take the time to learn what my students already know and identify concrete areas in which they can improve. I proceed from simpler concepts to the more difficult using a spiral approach whereby new skills are incorporated into previous skills so the student can learn the how concepts are connected without feeling drowned by complexity.
Why are you in Turkey?
I have been working as an Education Consultant since 2010. I live in Bahcesehir with my wife and daughter who are also American.
Can you teach to groups?
Ye s. Often this is a very good way to learn Physics since each person thinks about a concept in a unique way.
Do you have a car? Can you travel within Istanbul? Do you charge for travel expenses?
I do not own a car so I give preference to students who live in or near Bahcesehir but I can travel to different areas. The extra cost will depend on what transportatio n I need to use.
