Teaching Approach

I used the coursebooks provided by Cambridge University for the exam courses and I also use "In Company", by Mark Powell, Macmillan.

Program Description

Merhaba! I am a certified Business English teacher with many year of corporate training. I would like to tutor executive/upp er management level students that are preparing for the BEC (Business English Certificate), ICFE (Internationa l Certificate in Financial English), and the ILEC (Internationa l Legal English Certificate). I also tutor students whose goal is not to get a certficate but would like to improve their business english.

Teaching Experience

I am from the United States and have a bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Northwood University. I am presently a director at Worldwide Benefits Inc and prior to that I was President of Western Funding Group, Inc and held that position for 11 years.

Teacher Training

I am certified to teach english as a second language with an additional certificate to teach business english.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is your teaching schedule?
A: I schedule tutoring sessions on Monday - Friday from 15:00 - 21:00 and on Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00.

Q: What is your payment policy?
A: My payment policy is to be paid at the beginning of each tutoring session.

Q : What is your cancellation policy?
A: Emergencies do arise and I am very understanding of that. Please call and let me know if you are unable to make a session with as much notice as possible and I will work with you. If you do not call in then you will be charged for that session.

Q : Are you available for questions outside of our tutoring session?
A: Yes, I operate with an open door policy. You may call or e-mail with any questions that you may have and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cost of Lessons

I charge 50tl per hour. I request students to come to my office for tutoring which is located in Mecidiyekoy unless otherwise arranged.
