In the end of level 1, student is able to know about Vietnamese culture, to communicate with Vietnamese native speaker about daily matter, i.g greeting in Vietnamese way, asking for a direction/pla ce/people/time /price, etc., and able to read a simple sentence.
In the end of level 2: student able to read a children book, a short story and to communicate in an advance level.
In the end of level 3: student able to discuss about a subject and understand the material that they read or talk about. For student who is planning to go to a University in Vietnam, this is a good opportunity to gain confident before starting in a real academic subject as you able to know about Vietnamese culture and the language. For a business person, this is a good start for you to practice with your future. How ever within 45 lessons, you would not expect to cope with all the subject of your business, except you require about the subject that you prefer to learn and I can design a special lesson for you.
In the end but not less importance, success is always depend on the exertion of yourself.

Program Description

Each lesson is divided into 2 parts: first part is an academic teaching/intr oducing about the material that will be taught; and the later part will be the practice for student with supports of the tutor. All my lessons are inter-build with Vietnamese culture.
T he teaching program has 3 levels:
1 - Level one: beginner 10 lessons,
Mainly focus on introduction and teaching student simple sentences to practice his/her Vietnamese pronunciation .
a)Introduct ion of:
• Vietnamese alphabets, pronunciation of unusual letters , in compare with the native language of the learner. (b)
• Special tones of Vietnamese.
b)Teaching: basic sentences and vocabularies then student have to practice to speak what they have learned.
2 - Level 2: Intermediate - 15 lessons
Teaching the practical verbal and written communication in simple way and easy to understand.
3 - Level 3: Advance - 20 lessons
In this level, teaching material is wider and heavier, hence student have to read a text and make a condense of the reading text before the next lesson starts. Student and tutor will converse about the text throughout an interested practice.

1989-1991: Worked as a teacher at White Head Refugee Camp School at Kowloon KongKong for Vietnamese refugee children, and an interpreter between English and Vietnamese for UNICEF UK in Hong Kong
1993-20 05 Worked as Bilingual Teacher and interpreter/t ranslator in Iceland.
2001-2005 Worked as guest lecture at University of Education in Iceland.
