Teaching Approach

I think that practice makes perfect. So with me there will be a lot or reading aloud and conversation. We will work to find reading materials on your level that are fun and helpful. I am pretty flexible and can work around schedules. I prefer lessons to be in a relaxed environment like I coffee shop. I also like to spend the first few minutes of each session reviewing the last session. I can help students with homework or test preparation. I can also help professional Adults with conversation, reading and writing for business. I think you will have a good time studying with me.

Program Description

I will meet with the student(s) and dicuss their goals for learning and work with them to develop a study program. Lessons will be very relaxed conversation style. I will provide no textbooks or strict cirriculum so the lessons are based around whatever the student wants to work on. I will bring reading materials for practice. These will be childrens books to young adult novels or news articles, as the student wishes.

Teaching Experience

I am a 23 year old University student from Atlanta, Georgia. I am currently studying art and Japanese. I have lead tutorials in art and art history as well as French and Japanese in the US. I also organize and run study groups for art history.

Teacher Training

I am a 5th year university student at the University of Georgia. I have also studied at The Savannah College of Art and Design. Ive participated in studies in Kyoto, Japan and Cortona, Italy. In the states I work as a text reader for visually impaired students and as a project assistant for Neo Inc.

- payment is due at the end of each lesson or at the end of the week if mor than one lesson per week.

Cost of Lessons

1,500yen per hour to 3,000yen depending on the situation. For example, if I have to commute a long way to reach you.
