Program Description

My lessons of a certified teacher of Russian and a native Russian speaker will help you master Russian language to perfection. I am also a native-speake r Ukrainian teacher, and a certified ESL/EFL teacher -- a fluent English speaker living for 32 years in the USA, where I earned a doctoral degree and have been writing and teaching in English extensively.
Students of all levels are welcome to my courses in three languages that will improve your pronunciation and listening perception, provide speech and grammar training, polish your conversationa l skills, enhance your reading and writing skills, enrich your vocabulary and knowledge of Russian / Ukrainian / English culture.
I will provide you electronicall y with all learning materials: textbook lessons along with audio lessons, and additional language and cultural materials (including spectacular slideshows).
You will only need to have Skype, Viber, or Zoom connection.

I have 15 years of experience in teaching Russian language and 10 years of experience in teaching Ukrainian language to English speakers -- one-on-one and in small groups, both in person and online, and 11 years of experience in teaching English language to Russian speakers. Prior to that, I taught university-le vel Russian and world literature.

I am a certified instructor in Methodology of Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language -- a qualification obtained from Moscow Lomonosov State University.
I am also a certified instructor in Teaching English as a Second / Foreign Language to non-English-s peaking professionals .
I have a BA degree in Russian language and literature, along with a BA in English; I also have a Ph.D. degree in comparative literature -- all from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.
I am also a certified English editor and a seasoned Russian-to-En glish and vice-versa literary translator, as well as a creative writer, poet, and screenwriter in both languages.
