Teaching Approach

My main experience is in teaching English as a Foreign Language to teen agers, although I have also taught other age groups. I have developed a style of teaching to keep the student's attention. For example if we are doing some necessary grammar lessons which can be difficult and boring, I always follow this with some group activity that involves conversation, or even a game which the students find enjoyable. At the same time, I try to get them to practice what they have just learnt!

Program Description

I have especially with adult learners is to find out their interests and then practice conversations and so on by discussing those interests, rather than something randomly picked from a textbook. Another useful way of creating discussions is by using newspapers and magazines and discussing current affairs and news items.
