The most important component of telephone lessons is active, lively conversation. Exercises and assignments can help, but it is really one-on-one exchange that helps a student to build confidence and develop skills. In addition to two degrees in English, I have experience giving telephone lessons to students from a variety of countries, and my student ratings are consistently high because of the individual attention each student receives. Lesson plans are designed for each student, so every person's program is unique. An especially helpful component of the telephone lessons I offer is the individualize d review sent by email after each lesson.

Program Description

Lessons offered focus on conversation at the learner's own level or pace. If desired, one-on-one conversation is supplemented with grammar, usage, syntax, writing, and vocabulary exercises sent by email and reviewed during lessons. Students can also receive articles on subjects of interest to read and discuss during lessons. Lessons focusing on business conversation are also available. Students will receive a detailed lesson review by email after each lesson.

What is your teaching schedule?
My schedule is flexible, so I can schedule lessons according to student needs. I am unavailable between 12am and 4am EST (New York time).
Wha t is your payment policy?
Paym ent can be made via PayPal or direct deposit. After the first lesson, individual payment schedules will be arranged. No payment is necessary before the first lesson. Payment for the first lesson and subsequent lessons must be received before other lessons can be scheduled.
What other relevant experience makes you a more effective teacher?
In addition to having telephone tutoring experience, I taught writing and literature in a classroom for several years. My teaching techniques are many and varied, and I can meet the needs of each individual.
