Teaching Approach

My goals are to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate , enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to any school. My lesson plans are always well thought out and develop at a steady pace making sure that no one missed out or finds them selves behind in work. The key to my lessons and I think with teaching any foreign language is to remember the importance of in class conversations , and looking out of the little issues foreign students may have like the meaning of in, on and under for example.

Program Description

I have just completed a TEFL course, TEFL I feel provide an alternative way to traditional teaching methods. The lesson and programs incorporate has much fun and physical activities has they can. Learning grammar and conversation in a fun environment is vital and moulds the class together.

Teaching Experience

TEFL Qualification .
I worked as a classroom for assistant for many months. Working with children from all different ages, some of which had severe disabilities.
Living and working as a volunteer in Cuba. Teaching English was part of the Volunteering experience.
Im lucky enough to have a few private students from all levels who I have been teaching since before Christmas. Some come to me for conversationa l tips while the others use my expertise to help with grammar when it comes to college project.

Teacher Training

Degree in Humanities. Philosopy and theology with english encorporated.
Tefl Qualification .
Irish/ Cuban solidarity assoiation.

Well I will be available from early morning to late at night. The weekend is also viable for those professionals who will be working all week.

Payment could be done per lesson or if we organise a block of lessons we can talk about being paid in one payment and discounts.

Having travelled and lived in many places makes me a more effective teacher I feel when it comes to teaching English as a foreign language; I have developed a very patient nature which I feel is invaluable when trying to communicate my points across.
