Generally, I use a task based language teaching method. It is the most effective method of teaching a second language nowadays. With TBLT comes different approaches wherein i classify my students into a program that caters to their needs.
For the beginners, i use a grammar translation method approach and audio lingual method approach - wherein I would focus on the step by step process of learning - vocabulary, literature appreciation, comprehension , grammar and a little of sentence construction.
For more advanced students, I dwell on grammar, fluency and a communicative learning approach. This focus is concerned with how students should apply the English language in their every day lives, not just an immediate classroom task.
What sets me apart from the other is I'd go for the non traditional way of teaching. I believe an effective teaching is achieved when there is a mutual exchange of ideas between a teacher and a student. I always make it to a point that my student would understand the lessons at the end of the day.

I work for an online English tutoring firm at present. I've been in the company for two years. I've handled students of all sorts - from a nine year old to a fifty year old. I teach reading and phonics, regular English class (beginner-int ermediate-adva nced) and I also taught courses for business and advanced classes.

I graduated in one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines in 2007. I worked for one and a half years in New York City as a front desk officer at a hotel in Manhattan.
