Teaching Approach

I am a very enthusiastic person who really enjoys teaching Spanish. I think that is the most important think when teaching a language.
I am good at motivating uninterested students as well as those who have some learning dificulties.
I have wide experience teaching Spanish with excellent results.

Program Description

The lessons will be planned according to the level and especific necessities of every student. The lessons may vary from exclusively conversationa l Spanish to basic grammar and vocabulary.
Theoretical explanations will be supported with practical exercises and some extra homework (only for those pupils who ask for it)
The Spanish lessons usually take place in my house, in Oxford Place, (Rusholme) although we can talk about it.
The price of the lessons, which last 1 hour is £15 if taught at home and £20 if they are taught at the pupil's.
Chi ldren are also welcome since I am curretnly working at two infant schools and I have lots of games and activities for kids. Kids will be admitted providing that a little group can be gathered (otherwise, it may be boring for them)

Teaching Experience

I have worked for three years as an English private tutor in Spain teaching people with ages between 5 and 36 years old, especially teenagers.
One year of experience as Spanish tutor for adults in England

1 year working as a Spanish teacher in a school of technology. (references available upon request)

I have worked for two months as Spanish teacher at two infant schools. (references available upon request)

3 months of experience giving a Spanish course at International Society (references available upon request)

Teacher Training

A four-year English philology degree (Alcala de Henares University)
Third year of English literature at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Training certification on education for the development (Intermon, Spain)
Cambr idge English Advance Certificate

In the case of teaching kids, I have previously worked as a babysitter so I am good at dealing with children.
On the other hand, I am still a student myself so I can wide my knowldege of teaching methodology by observing my own teachers and my workmates at infant chools

Cost of Lessons

£15 if the lessons take place in my house, in Oxford Place (Rusholme) and £20 if they are taught at the pupil's house (to be discussed)
