My teaching approach for both Latin and Greek is in realm of a systematic visual paradigm approach, helping students to focus on the norm and the constants, so that the variables that exist in any language are not as burdensome. I offer excellent study methodologies that a disciplined student may readily acquire, including a foolproof method for studying and memorizing vocabulary.

Program Description

Since I believe that Latin IS English, that is, since 60% or more of the English language has its roots in the ancient Latin language, my teaching is geared more to the grammatical structures and vocabulary than it is to the ancient Roman culture. As for Greek, the Greek that I teach is the Koine (common) Greek of the New Testament period of biblical history. In terms of language, Greek is my first love. I have not only taught it effectively to scores of men, women and high school age young people, I also have published my own Greek book materials as a systematic-re lational grammar for the beginning New Testament Greek student.

I have taught Latin to home schoolers and high schoolers grades 7-12. I also have done the same with beginning New Testament Greek, for which I have a published book, a website and a blog site. I also utilize a Latin blog site for instructional purposed.
