Teaching Approach

In my training we used the conversationa l approach. I do not speak much Italian so lessons will be in all english conversation which I believe is an effective method to learning a foreign language.

Program Description

I am a native English teacher living in Como, Italy. I just received my TEFL certification and I taught elementary school last year. I am interested in teaching/tuto ring children or adults.

Teaching Experience

Last year I taught children ages 11-12 in a regular classroom int he USA. In my training to recieve my TEFL certificate, I taught adults conversationa l English. I had experience teaching elementary, intermediate, and advanced classses ranging from 3-5 people each.

Teacher Training

I have a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and a TEFL certificate from Via Lingua in Florence, Italy.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have an open schedule and can meet throughout the day. I require payment in whole for each week at the beginning and do not refund money if you need to cancel lessons one day. If you are not going to be available one week I would not charge as long as you give me prior notice.

I have experience teaching children and adults and like to bring my creativity and fun into lessons. I am a patient person and am easy to get to know.
