Teaching Approach

If the student is new to the language, I like to try and get he/she speaking right away with simple phrases and common expressions. Also, I strongly emphasize the essential rudiments of grammar and sentence structure when tutoring via example sentences and curriculum that has been successful for prior students.

Program Description

Want to learn Japanese? Maybe you've already learned a bit in the past but would like to brush-up on it...
I tutor Japanese language to all ages/levels from beginner to advanced, and would love to hear from you if you would really like to learn this deep & rich language! Learn conversationa l Japanese, formal Japanese for business/prof essional situations, and/or reading and writing Japanese(kana , kanji). Please e-mail or call me if you're interested.

I have taken and passed the official level one Japanese Proficiency Exam (administered bi-annually by the Japan Foundation), and have tutored privately for 2 years +, now. I also have some translation experience (websites).
