Teaching Approach

I will be able to give my student my full attention and student will be able to appreciate chinese language and chinese culture in a light-hearted manner. I am effectively bilingual, have no problems in explaining certain things to student in English. I welcome students to give suggestions and will focus on the goal students will to achieve, be it business or personal. I will give my personal attention to each.

Program Description

For beginners, lessons will be more on conversationa l skills rather than reading chinese characters. Learners will be taught a system of letters similar to that of english to help them in chinese pronounciatio n. Rules of gammar and vocabulary will be infused into the conversations making it easier for student to understand and appreciate. The pitch and tones of each pronounciatio n will also be carefully taught as it is an important element in chinese language. Intermediate learners will be taught chinese characters, and even formal chinese languahge used in letter writing, addressing and conversing with business counterparts, and question and answer techniques in a formal chinese setting.
