I am a successful language teacher because my major concern is the progress of each individual student in my class.People learn language differently. I want students to be able to speak Thai naturally like a native as much as possible. Just state what area of Thai you want to learn and improve and I will design the curriculum to suit your need and level.

I have 7 years experience teaching English (literature and composition) and over 5 years experience teaching Thai to foreigners. I prefer giving a private lesson than a normal classroom since I can design each curriculum to suit student's interest.

I have a master degree in English Literature and am teaching English writing as an adjunct lecturer at City University of New York.
I am currently working on a doctorate degree in Composition and TESOL.

My major concern: From my experience, continuity is a key to learning Thai. I spend a lot of time preparing a lesson and practice exercises so that a student can learn according to his/her own pace. Thus, if you think that you cannot commit to taking a lesson continuously for six lessons, you might not want to start taking Thai language just yet. Most of my students are busy adult learners so I normally try in anyway to fit a class into their weekly work schedule.Succ essful students typically spend at least an hour per week outside of class to complete their assignments.
The private lesson is usually held in midtown Manhattan. I can also go to your house or office as long as it is in Manhattan.
Thai language is a tonal language, which makes it difficult for a non-native speaker to get a tone right unless he/she is taught by a native speaker. I am a patient teacher and will not try to rush you, but you will have to try hard for me as well.

Cost of Lessons

A private lesson costs 50 dollars a lesson. The length of the lesson is one hour and fifteen minutes. You will not be charged extra if we go over the time. Skype online session is 40 dollars per lesson. Six lessons commitment payment is required at the end of the first lesson.
As a professional courtesy, cancellation must be made at least 3 days before the scheduled class. During the course of six lessons, in case of illness or emergency, only one lesson may be rescheduled.
