I have taken two semesters of Korean language at university. (However was not very intensive and I would say that I'm still and the end of the beginner's stage).
I am learning Korean because I love Korean culture and language, and most of my friends are Korean. I find the language to be incredibly beautiful. Also, I am fairly sure that I will relocate to Korea, and would love to speak the language. I need improvement in all areas, but grammar and conversation are mainly what I'm looking for. I would like to dedicate as much time as my financial situation allows. In a teacher, I am looking for someone who is very patient and can go over things in a very intense manner (namely pronunciation ). I am looking for a person who will be friendly and motivate me to do my best!! I may have some trouble and convince myself not to do all that I should. I want a teacher who can help me to keep improving.

I have been accepted into a study abroad program and would like a tutor to teach me as a beginner of the Korean language. Since i am a beginner i would need help in pronouncing, reading and writing in an elementary/ba sic and patient way. I would like to spend 2-3 hours daily or by weekend on the learning of the Korean language.

I have a very basic Korean proficiency level. I am just a beginner.
I would like to learn Korean in order to qualify for a Fulbright scholarship. I am also hopeful that Korean will benefit me in my future career.
I have been teaching myself Korean through a textbook and learning through the Rosetta Stone, but this isn't enough. I must have at least two semester's worth of Korean in order to qualify for the Fulbright. If I am awarded the fulbright, I will be studying in South Korea starting around July or August of 2010. I know some vocabulary and basic sentences and grammar, but need improvement in all areas. Even if I do not recieve the grant to study in South Korea, I am still very much interested in the language and culture and plan on continuing the study of the Korean language.
I am willing to dedicate a few hours a week to language lessons. I would like lessons that focus on both grammar and conversation both written and verbal.
