I speak fluent Italian & can understand Spanish fairly well; however, I would be a total beginner at Spanish. I love the sound of Spanish both speaking & singing & would like to make it my next language to learn. I could dedicate a couple afternoons or evenings a week in the summer & perhaps a few hours a week in the Fall/Winter. I am looking for a teacher that has fun when he/she teaches and is flexible but organized in his/her methodology. I also have a friend my same age who owns a home in Puerto Rico; thus, would like to learn Spanish. She would be a total beginner...J.

I am interested in learning conversatonal Spanish both for business and social interaction.
I am a beginner although I did have some Spanish in high school 30 years ago, some of which I remember.
I am intersted in private sessions, not a group.
I would dedicate myself to 1 hour sessions twice weekly startng this September.

I would like to learn Spanish for travel/volunt eer work in Columbia. As I am an almost a complete beginner (I can count, conjugate verbs in the present tense, know the difference between ser/estar, can exchange greetings), I would like to work on basic vocabulary, verb conjugation, etc... I have very strict scheduling issues and am only available Monday afternoons or Friday mornings. I would like my teacher to be organized, efficient and personable.
