I am a Bangladeshi self-employed with interest in learing Arabic. I have tried to learn on my own (Rosetta Stone software, already finished first CD onto the second one) and have been taking some lessons around avearge of once a week for the past one year doing the couse of Madinah University (have finsihed first two books).
I find that not having intensive opportunity to practice converstion a big handicap. I will be visiting Toronto for the full month of July and would like to spend two / three days a week for a hour or two to learn Arabic with real emphasis on speaking. I can read and write Arabic(becaus e Urdu is my mother tounge)but i would like to apply the grammer and whatever litte vocabulary i have learnt into practise and also to gain further vocabulary through speaking.
I would prefer learning in a small group or individually (s mall group preferred).

i was interested in arabic (fulsah) lessons for this summer (2004). are you offering any small classes for beginners? i have been wanting to learn arabic for my entire life, i am half arab (father's side) and i am seeking to learn to communicate with my family. for this, i would be very commited to learning at any pace offered to me. if you are not offering classes for the rest of the summer, can you direct me to someone who is?
