My conversationa l skill is a beginner level. I studied Japanese at SDSU for 1.5 years and lived in Japan for one year. I can read and write hiragana and katakana but I've forgoten most kanji.
I am interested in learning conversationa l Japanese. Learning from a textbook is very different from actually speaking with someone.
I 'd like to visit some friends in Japan in September. Hopefully, I can speak Japanese with them.
I think 1-2 meeting per week would be good.
My listening comprehension needs to improve. I often had to ask people to repeat themselves many times.

My name is Cherie Adams. I am seeking a Japanese tutor. I have studied Japanese in college and I lived in Japan 4 years ago, for three years. I am interested in conversation and studying written Japanese. Since coming back to the U.S., my Japanese skills have lapsed. I would like to study once/week in person if possible.
