I have no prior knowledge of Arabic whatsoever.
I am interested in learning Arabic for various reasons, the most important of which are both an intense interest in the culture of the Arabic world and the potential career benefits that come with having an understanding of the language.
I am willing to commit to at least two to three lessons a week, but this obviously depends on scheduling reaquirements of the professor and myself.
I would like to focus mostly on conversation but through these lessons would also like to have a rudimentary understanding of the written word. As for teacher qualities, I'm sure I'll get along well with anyone!

I took a grade 10 Arabic offered int eh curriculum in the Niagara Region 3 years ago. I would like to learn Arabic more extensively for future use. I have some learning material available to me from taking the course. I can always use more learning material. I talk with some friends I've made on the internet to try to keep up with practice and maintaining exposure. I want to increase my exposure to the Arabic World. I have enough background for beginner's, but I need to get more practice with it. I would need to refamiliarize myself with verbs, grammar, expressions, etc.
