Salam! My name is Annika Natus (24), I'm living in Germany and studying arabic since one year at Frankfurt University and would like to improve arabic speach, grammar and conversation, because we only translate and not talk in our lessons... The initial cause, why me and my husband, Shamir Ali (26) want to learn arabic, is to read and understand the Qur'an best as possible. We are searching for a patient teacher (whose lessons are not to expensive) - we would prefere in Damascus - because we don't want to book an expensive school-packag e, but organise the journey ourselves.

I have no knowledge of arabic at al which makes me a complete beginner. I am originally from the middle east and want to learn the language of my roots. Also, i have alot of arabic friends and love arabic music. I want to learn conversation only. I would like to dedicate at least 3 hours a week. The ideal teacher should be patient and reliable.
