I wish to take a beginner's arabic class. My parents are Algerians and I figured it is time I learned and reconciled with my culture and language of origins. Besides I wish to use Arabic for career related purposes in the future and this is a great asset to have in the multi-cultura l city we live in. I would need to learn it from scratch really although I don't expect to struggle with prononciation . I would like to be able to speak read and write arabic, and so I would be happy to dedicate 2 hours or so weekly to attend a local class. I am expecteing to be taught a language in a way that is highly stimulating and interractive, entertwining elements of the history and the culture of the Arab world with all aspects of the language. A language should be alive, spoken and celebrated in all its forms :)I wish to take a class in which lessons would be structured and allowing room for students imput and participation and questions.

I would like to learn to speak arabic Mid eastern) fluently and read and write it confidently - i am looking for a native speaking teacher in the brighton area (ideally lebanese) with a view to taking up to two classes a week - i was born to an english speaking family in lebanon and have some (minimal) memory of arabic which i spoke as a small child but have largely forgotten - i would describe myself as a beginner - i wish to return to lebanon and comunicate freely - please contact me.

I lived in Jordan for a year and learned arabic there. I want to continue learning and growing in my speaking, reading, and writing skills. I would prefer to learn the middle eastern dialect (preferably Jordanian or Palestinian). I am not interested in Fusha.

I am a beginner though I have had some exposure to Arabic and have studied briefly, it would benefit me to begin fresh. I want to learn how to write and speak arabic fluently. I have lived and worked in the middle east (Palestine) and would like to do so again. I would be prepared to commit three-four hours weekly to classes. the qualities I am looking in an instructor is flexibility and a sense of humour.

I am a beginner with a budding interest in learning new languages. I am most interested in Arabic and Farsi, but I would also like to look into Pashto and Urdu.
