For years, I've held a fascination with languages. Some, I am working on picking up on my own as they are easier to understand with my knowledge of French and English, but some others I wish to learn (such as Arabic, Greek, and Japanese) will be much harder to learn due to completely different structures. Arabic is my current focal point, as I wish to go to Lebanon in a few years, and would like to have some proficiency with the language long before the trip is ever prepared.
I work with many Lebanese people, and I love the sound of the language, and am quite intrigued by it. Although I'd prefer to learn Lebanese Arabic, any other similar dialect would be okay for me as well. So hopefully I can find a teacher here...

I already speak French and Spanish, but I want to learn Arabic now. This is because I like learning languages. I am at a beginner level, and I probably need improvement in all areas. I am at beginner level in Arabic. I want to learn the language as part of my major and so I may travel to middle eastern countires for study abroad. I want to learn enough Arabic over teh summer to become an intemerdiate level learner. I want lessons to be in person.I also want to lean Turkish. I want to be fluent in both languages in 5 years.
I am also learning German. I have two years of high school German under my belt. I understand German better than I speak it. I need improvement in Grammer and sentence structure as well as new vocabulary. I want to be proficent and fluent in German in 3 years.
