I am developing a relationship with one of two girls from Odessa, UKR and I went there in Aug. to meet them. One 'promises' to come here this summer and to learn some English before that. I have been studying the Pimsleur CD's for Russian, but it is VERY hard, and the man often speaks too fast or unintelligibl e to me.
I don't want to spend a fortune on classes or tutoring, but I figure that maybe 10-12 hours of instruction, along with my CD's and practice in a class or tutor atmosphere, will teach me enough to get by with Nataliya..... .if she comes! If not, I hope to save enough money to return to Odessa maybe next year.

I love the sound of both Estonian and Russian.
I am absolute beginner at Estonian and I know beginner level Russian.
