Hi there,
Why am I learning Irish: I'm keen to learn Irish for personal reasons. As an Irishman abroad, I'd like to be able to speak my own language.
Proficien cy level: I spoke it pretty fluently by the time I left school but haven't spoken it in 20 years. Plus I learned Spanish and French in the meantime, both of which knocked a lot of Irish out of my head. So I'd classify myself as a beginner with a cupla focail.
Ar eas for improvement: I'm interested in learning all aspects of Irish, but I'd particularly like to be able to speak conversationa lly.
Time to dedicate to lessons: I'd like to do at least two hours a week. Am flexible with regard to when to do the lessons
Qu alities sought in a teacher: friendly, encouraging, patient, preferably Irish-speakin g :)
