I am learning spanish just for personal use. I am from Arizona, USA, and there is a large Mexican, so spanish speaking population. I would like to be able to possibly implement the use in volunteer work or with a future career.
I took a few college courses a few years ago, and have been in a course just recently. I lived with a spanish speaking family in Brussels who are interpreters. I just don't feel comfortable speaking, though i understand a lot.
I have quite a bit of vocabulary, but I don't feel comfortable with sentence structure. Maybe focusing on making me speak, asking questions and having sets of things to discuss.
I don't have any set amount of time or group size, just probably smaller than 5. I would really like to make a huge effort for the next few months and improve a lot.
I am looking for someone who is patient and nice, and funny always helps too! haha

I plan to have 1 hour a week and maybe home work to do...
i used to be a french teacher in the Alliance Francaise de Perth (Australia) so i know that learning a language takes time and need practice.

I'm interested in learning spanish to help me interact with different spanish speaking cultures. I would like to make documentaries on food and travel in places like the Caribbean and South America; once I finish radio and television school.
I am a beginner student and only know a few basic phrases and words; and would like to work on being conversationa l. I want to be able to properly interact with people in spanish speaking countries.
My school has finished for the year and have extra time on my hands. Depending on how the lessons go will depend on how much time I need to dedicate. I'm looking for someone with patience that is able to teach with different methods to accommodate the learning style of their students. I am unsure what my learning style is since I have never properly taken a language course before?
