I graduated from college in 2005, but I have never taken any Arabic language courses. I know nothing of the language and plan on buying a book for self learning in the near future, but would like a classroom type of experience as well to keep me focused. I'd like to attend class around two times a week, for no more than two hours a session. An hour per session would be ideal due to my busy work schedule. I would like for my language teacher to be patient but strict on what they expect. They do not have to have a ton of experience, but a knack for teaching. I want to take Arabic because I have never truly pursued a foreign language, and with everything that is going on in the world, this seems to be a good one to learn.

I have studied Arabic for 2 years, one summer at Georgetown and another summer at the American University in Cairo. I am at a high beginner/low intermediate level and wish to continue my studies in Denver through a private tutor. I would like to meet 2 times a week and have been using the Al-Kitaab series.
